The Scavenger 2000 is a vessel equiped with an advanced water treatment system. The system consists in the
injection of oxygen and ozone into the contaminated water to eliminate bacteria and viruses living in it.
This technology was developed in Canada and it is currently the most advanced system in the world to clean polluted
waters.
The process is as follows:
The boat absorbs polluted water through its front, then the absorbed water is passed through the water
treatment system to decontaminate it, once decontaminated, the water is expelled from the back of the
boat.
The processing capacity of Scavenger 2000 is 10,000 to 20,000 gallons per minute. Additionally,
the ship is capable of collecting solid waste on the water surface.
